Last days in Gold Coast - Day 6 and 7
Last two days in Gold Coast were leisurely spent unlike the previous four days where we were busy with the theme parks. On our 6th day, we chose to go to the Tambourine mountains and the glow worm day tour. The drive was pretty refreshing. We were only five people as our other friends had to leave. We got up late and left our apartment around 12pm. We first went to the glow worm caves.
From the glow work caves, we went to Paragon for lunch and we just loved the food over there. If anyone's planning to visit tambourine mountains then I would definitely recommend this restaurant. It's more of Greek and Italian food and they have good vegetarian options too.
After a yummy lunch, we left to Curtis Falls which is also famous in Tambourine mountains. The trail to walk down towards the falls is beautiful but we couldn't see any falls over there as there was hardly any water. Only thing we could do there is click some good photos. So after all these, we finally went back to the apartment around 6.30 pm and had a good sleep.
We woke up late in the evening and then began our journey in search of food which was seriously funny. Not all restaurants are open till midnight and the ones which are open are mainly bars and pubs where we don't get proper food especially if you are a vegetarian. So we started roaming around the streets to find some good ones but everything was closed. Then finally we ended up at Pizza Hut and Wok in a box where we bought pizzas, garlic bread, spring rolls and fried rice. After the dinner, we went to Jupiters casino and finally were back home in the midnight.

Our last day in gold coast was also completely occupied as we had to visit the Sky point observation deck. So we went there around 10 am and spent a lot of time clicking pictures and enjoying the spectacular view. They have an external building walk available at SkyPoint which is called as the skyclimb. It requires guests to pay an additional fee. Guests are harnessed before walking up and around the top of the tower. It is similar to the Sydney bridge climb.
After spending a good time at the skydeck, we went to pancake paradise for a nice brunch. Following this was our walk at the surfers paradise beach which was very much needed after some busy days. So we finished our walk and went to the Harbour Town and Pacific Fair. We even walked the streets of surfers paradise shopping line. Surfers paradise is the name of a suburb in Gold Coast which is very famous and it's considered to be one of the most happening places.
We finally left to the airport around 5.30 pm and left to Melbourne at 9pm as the flight was delayed. We reached home around 1 am and that was again a lovely trip and more exciting because we had my brother and also we were 8 people. The more people you go with , the more you enjoy. That's Gold Coast for us. Hope you enjoyed reading my post. Will be back soon. See Ya :)
